Nurse/AHP Clinical Research Fellowships

Are you a nurse or allied healthcare professional who wants to pursue a PhD? Barts Charity is piloting a brand new funding programme for people like you.

You can apply if you

  • are a trained nurse or allied healthcare professional
  • already hold an MSc
  • are planning to work on a clinical research project as part of a PhD, and
  • have a prospective supervisor at Barts Health NHS Trust or Barts and The London School of Medicine & Dentistry

Funding is for the full three-year duration of your PhD (or the part-time equivalent). 

You may not apply if you are already registered on a PhD course.

Application process

The next deadline for applications will be October 2018. Shortlisting takes place in the following January and the selection interviews are in March.

All applications need to be endorsed in writing by your head of function.
