Transform Trauma gig competition terms and conditions

Professor Green is headlining a gig in support of Barts Charity's Transform Trauma appeal at Village Underground, London, on 9th September 2017.

The following outlines the terms and conditions of entry to the competition to attend the gig. By entering the competition, you accept these terms and conditions as final and binding. Entries which are not in accordance with the terms and conditions will be disqualified.

Tickets are not on sale in the traditional sense; to be in with a chance of attending the gig you need to enter our competition here.

By entering the competition, you'll be in with a chance of winning guest list entry to the gig for you and a friend. You'll also be in with a chance of winning a backstage meet and greet for you and a friend with Professor Green.

Upon entering, you'll be able to make an optional donation of £5 to our Transform Trauma appeal, funding research and innovation to help save the lives and improve recoveries of critically-injured trauma patients.

Eligibility

  • You must be 16 or older at the point of entry to enter the competition.
  • If successful, you will win one pair of tickets to the gig.
  • You may also win a pair of backstage meet and greets with Professor Green.
  • To gain entry to the gig, the winner must attend the event in person with a valid passport or driving licence to prove their identity.
  • You may only enter the gig if you are 14 or older. A responsible adult, aged 18 or older, must accompany anyone who is attending who is under 18.
  • For example, if you are 16 and you are a winner of the competition, the person you choose to bring with you to the gig must be 18 or older.

Further terms and conditions

  1. The winners will be selected using a random generator.
  2. The prize is a pair of entries to a Professor Green gig at Village Underground on 9th September 2017. For five of the winners, the prize will include a pair of backstage meet and greets with Professor Green.
  3. There will be 320 winners of a pair of entries (640 attendees in total), with five winners of a pair of backstage meet and greets with Professor Green (10 meet and greets in total). Please note, no physical tickets will be issued as part of the prize.
  4. Entrants can enter the competition a maximum of five times.
  5. The prize is not transferable and no cash alternative is available.
  6. Winners must be available on 09/09/2017 to attend the gig and may be asked to confirm they will attend in order to verify their win.
  7. To gain entry to the event, winners must attend the event in person with ID to prove their identity. The other entry holder must be over the age of 14. There must be at least one responsible adult aged 18 or older for every pair of entrants.
  8. Winners will be drawn on or before 28th August and notified on or before 28th August.
  9. No responsibility is accepted for entries which are lost, corrupted, or incomplete.
  10. In the event of any dispute regarding the terms and conditions, the conduct, results and any other matters relating to this competition, the decision of Barts Charity shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
  11. The payment of all costs and expenses in attending the event are the responsibility of the winners.
  12. The organiser reserves the right to suspend, cancel or modify the ticket draw at any time (and for any reason) without notice.
  13. In the event that the gig is cancelled, no refunds for donations or any other costs incurred will be issued.
  14. The organiser shall not be responsible for damages, losses or liabilities of any kind, including without limitation, direct, indirect or consequential loss or damages arising out of or in relation to the ticket draw. The liability of the promoter shall be limited to the minimum amount permitted by law. Nothing in this condition shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury as a result of the organiser's negligence.
  15. No refunds shall be made to entries or donations made to user error on the entrants behalf or understanding the nature of the competition.
  16. Very limited further entries will be available outside of this competition. These will be reserved exclusively for media, band guests and Barts Charity partners.
  17. The SMS entry cost will be the entrant's usual applicable standard network charges.
  18. You must obtain the bill payer's permission before entering.
  19. Donations to Barts Charity's Transform Trauma appeal as part of this competition are entirely optional. 100% of donations made through this competition will go to Barts Charity's Transform Trauma appeal. To opt out of donating, entrants must follow the instructions received in the messages following initial entry.
  20. Postal entry: Postal entrants may enter the promotion by mailing their full name and a contact telephone number (including area code if providing a landline number) or other method of contact (as applicable), as well as other required information and/or material to the postal address as specified in the interaction information. Entries must be sent on a postcard or on or within an envelope. Entries received on anything other than a postcard or envelope will not be accepted. In the case of multiple entries received in a single envelope or postcard, only one entry will be entered into the promotion. Entries sent by post must be received at the relevant postal address specified for entries by the closing date and time for receipt of entries. Postal entries without correct and sufficient postage paid will be invalid and will not be considered. Personal and hand deliveries will not be accepted.
