St Bartholomew’s Hospital is the UK’s oldest hospital, dating back 900 years. It is a national centre of excellence for cancer care and is home to the world-leading Barts Heart Centre.
Mile End Hospital is home to a range of out-patient services, from physiotherapy to rheumatology.

A centre of excellence in preventive medicine and epidemiology (the study and analysis of the patterns, causes, and effects of health and disease conditions in defined populations). It focuses upon translating research into public health strategies, dedicated to the reduction of disease and disability.
