Newham Hospital

We’re proud to support projects at Newham Hospital, which serves a diverse and fast growing population.

Newham Hospital cares for one of the most diverse and fastest growing populations. The hospital opened in 1983 and is the newest of the Barts NHS Trust Hospitals.

It replaced Queen Mary’s Hospital for the East End and East Ham Memorial Hospital, and in 1985 maternity services were transferred to Newham from Forest Gate Maternity Hospital

Located in Plaistow in the vibrant East End of London, it provides all the services expected of a local hospital, including emergency care, surgery, women’s and children’s health, maternity services, specialist medicine and more.
