Send a Smile with Santa

Christmas is the MOST wonderful time of year.

With your help, for the children and older patients in our hospitals, we can keep it that way.

Help to give a little magic: Send a Smile to someone in hospital this Christmas.

How to make your Christmas mean a little more

By donating to our Send a Smile with Santa appeal, you’ll be helping to keep patients smiling this Christmas.

Our deadline for sending gifts has passed, but you can still make a donation below.

100% of your donation will help the Children’s Play Team and the Older People’s Services across all the hospitals we support to deliver the most extraordinary care possible, not just this Christmas but into 2018 too. Giving money is a special way to make your Christmas gift last longer.

Tyraah's Christmas

It was Christmas Eve 2014 – aged just seven months old – when Tyraah was diagnosed with retinoblastoma, a rare form of eye cancer. This was a devastating time for the whole family.

She’s received chemotherapy and regularly visits The Royal London Hospital for check-ups, along with her little sister Mariaah who has the same eye gene. Spending Christmas in hospital could so easily destroy the magic for children like Tyraah and Mariaah, but with your support, we can keep the magic alive.

The Children’s Play Team and Older People’s Services that our appeal supports work tirelessly at Christmas and all year, delivering extraordinary healthcare and keeping morale as high as possible.

As Jade, Tyraah and Mariaah’s mum, says: “The Play Team are a massive part of our lives. They make Tyraah’s time there fun and easier; my children adore them and the whole team are fantastic.”

Your donation will support the Children’s Play Team and Older People’s Services to make more life-changing differences.
