Donating in memory
Donations in honour of someone special are a wonderful tribute that will directly help to transform the lives of patients in the hospitals we support.
How to give in memory
Give in memory online
You can donate in memory through our website.
Please download our standing order form to set up a regular gift in memory – you can choose to give monthly or yearly – for example on a meaningful anniversary.
Create a JustGiving tribute page
You can add photos and notes, and donors can leave personal messages – meaning this is a wonderful and unique way to remember a loved one.
By post – in memory donation envelopes
We can send you in memory donation envelopes to use at a funeral or memorial event. Please call us (020 7618 1720) or email us to let us know how many you’ll need. You can also download our donation form.
Maybe you’d like to organise your own event in memory of a loved one. There are various options for fundraising in memory.
Fundraising for Lacey-Esme
Following the death of her 10-day-old daughter, Kirsty and her family have been raising funds for The Royal London neonatal ward in memory of Lacey-Esme. They’ve taken part in events such as the Cardiff Half Marathon.
“We started small and grew each year. We try to get the support of our local paper, always set up a JustGiving page and have an achievable target,” says Kirsty.
In memory of his father, Brad (pictured right) got all his old bands together for a night of live music, raising funds for Rahere Ward at St Bartholomew’s, where his Dad passed away.
It was Brad’s 60th birthday bash – “The Pension Gig”, and over 120 friends and family came along for a fun and memorable night.
“Dad was always supportive of the bands I played with and bought my first bass guitar and amp when I was 14. Until he became too ill he would come to our gigs.
"He was incredibly well looked after at St Bartholomew's during his final week.”
Running in memory
Victoria ran the London Marathon in memory of her Dad, who sadly lost his battle with mesothelioma.
He was keen to help others with the same illness and so Victoria chose to fundraise for mesothelioma research and try to find ways to help other people going through a similar experience.
Susan took to the water to raise funds in memory of her Dad, who died from Hodgkin lymphoma. Susan swam two miles in open waters. She supported our Hodgkin Lymphoma appeal, helping to find new treatments for Hodgkin lymphoma.
“My Dad loved swimming among his many hobbies and I have decided to go the extra mile and do two in memory of him.”
