Fundraiser team assembles in loving memory of St Bartholomew’s Hospital patient Sarah
Sarah’s sister Cara has formed a super team of Sarah’s closest to run the London Landmarks Half Marathon in aid of Barts Charity.
Years of support
Bank of Montreal (BMO) are long-time supporters of Barts Charity. They have supported some of our most impactful projects, including a Sensory Room at The Royal London Hospital.
Some of their creative fundraisers include Peter, who dyed his hair neon pink, and Alison and the Admin Team, who jumped out of a plane. As if that wasn’t enough, staff at BMO went the extra mile at Christmas time. Their donations helped to ensure young patients in hospital over Christmas each had a present to open. They even gave up their time to wrap hundreds of presents at The Royal London Hospital. We’re so thankful to everyone who donated and volunteered.
This year, a tandem sky dive and a hair dye challenge inspired BMO’s staff to dig even deeper than usual. They raised a record-breaking £72,000 to support trauma care at Barts Health NHS Trust.

Helping critically injured Londoners
BMO’s latest fundraising drive will play a key role in futureproofing trauma facilities in our capital. It will help to ensure that critically injured Londoners have the very best chances of survival.
Professor Karim Brohi, Consultant Trauma Surgeon at Barts Health NHS Trust says: “We’re grateful to everyone at Bank of Montreal for supporting our work at the Trauma Centre.
“Charitable donations are crucial if we are to continue advancing trauma medicine and increasing survival rates for our patients. That BMO employees have come together to raise so much over Christmas to make this happen is very impressive.”
